Resumen

The present work analyzes the production of tons of coal in Colombia for the period between 1995 and 2015, through the estimation of models of time series, under the methodology of Box-Jenkins, to make a prediction; to identify the ARIMA model (1,1,1) (0,1,1)12 which predicted a growing trend in coal production in the country over the next three years.
