NODOS Transmedia, a narrative universe under construction, is a multiplatform research project that documents the transmedia projects carried out in Colombia from 2009 to 2020. This study arises from the lack of a documentary base and an exhaustive analysis of the growing number of these works in the country. The objective focused on researching the production, exhibition, and circulation of transmedia audiovisuals on digital platforms, to recognize the technical and thematic particularities of the proposals and identify the characteristics of the financing and production ecosystem in Colombia. The methodology used in the project is qualitative and it is divided into three phases: the first, consisted in establishing a state of the art from making technical sheets for each work, then an analysis matrix was designed and produced to classify the information compiled according to gender, theme, financing, expanded products, among others. In the second phase, we ran interviews and focus groups with the actors involved in the design, production, and financing of transmedia content. Finally, in the third phase, the research results were disseminated through a transmedia work called NODOS, composed of a data web, a mobile-made documentary, or documobile, and a podcast. The research allowed consolidating a database of 136 projects, which shows the growing production of transmedia in Colombia. The data web allows you to classify, filter, and link the data collected in the investigation. This fulfills the function of a digital repository of the works. In the documobile and the podcast, the discourses, concepts, and practices of transmedia proposals are interrelated, constituting a permanent source of consultation. NODOS is a model that can serve as a reference in other places for narrative expansion concerning transmedia, implying the convergence between art, science, and technology.
