Resumen
Professionals today are immersed in different social, political, economic and ethical tensions, as if it were not enough, the digitization of information and its management, has led to the transformation of their role. For this reason, it is necessary for future professionals to be prepared to assume a critical attitude towards these malicious practices. This paper used a qualitative approach for the analysis of the interviews that were applied to teachers of social communication or journalism and computer science, to know their perception of the manipulation, discrimination and bias of information, reflecting from the training process and professional development. It was found that there is still no consensus on how to approach this problem, because it is a recent phenomenon that needs ethical frameworks to regulate them and critical attitudes to denounce them.
