Resumen
Based on Judith Butler's gender performativity theory and contributions from authors like Teresa de Lauretis, Jean Baudrillard and Severo Sarduy, this article presents an analysis of the construction of transvestite-drag femininity represented in Al diablo la maldita primavera and Locas de felicidad. To this end, it's proposed the "transvestite fantasy" as a phenomenon that makes the Diva's beauty and sensuality the ideal model to build new corporal aesthetics that allow to overcome poverty and exclusion, and to outline a process of transvestite empowerment.
