Resumen

The article presents the design and implementation of a speed control system for an induction motor of 0.5 HP based on the concepts of rotor flux oriented vector control. The motor model has been represented dq0 coordinate system and uses a genetic algorithm to estimate their internal parameters. The control of the currents that produce the magnetic flux and the torque is achieved by a digital controller of finite response; the speed is regulated by a PI controller which is tuned by a genetic algorithm. The implementation of speed control is built on the development system for Microchip MCHV dsPICDEMTM using dsPIC33HJ32MC204.
