The following work identified the need to implement a solar photovoltaic grid-tied system to reduce the costs associated with electricity consumption in the company agronaime. The characterization of the energy consumption and potential of the agro-industrial plant with a grid-tied system was carried out. An integral evaluation of the information is carried out to determine the energy needs of the plant and to evaluate the solar generation potential of the area. This allows obtaining accurate data on the electrical consumption of the facilities and the solar radiation conditions that would be on the road to the city of Sabana de Torres, Vereda Cayumbita where the project was developed.
