Abstract

This work identifies the main trends and characteristics of travelers who visit the city of Bucaramanga through the application of data mining. First, a survey was applied to 110 visitors to the city of Bucaramanga, chosen at random. Then, the data was cleaned and transformed; to be processed by software: SPSS Statistics and WEKA. As a result, the habits of travelers visiting the city of Bucaramanga are segmented and described. Similarly, relationships and trends are established between them. Finally, the level of expenses, perception and satisfaction is determined after visiting the city. The above through association rules and cluster analysis.
