Introduction: Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma (MC) was first described in 1954, and few cases have been described affecting organs such as the central nervous system, meninges, maxillary sinuses, vulva, and perineum. Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma has never been described involving the penis, up to the present, in the literature. Our paper presents the first case of MC involving the penis in a 38 year old man who presented with a palpable induration in the penis. Materials and methods: A search was conducted in PubMed with the terms «mesenchymal chondrosarcoma AND penis» and no results were found. A new search was conducted with the term «mesenchymal chondrosarcoma» and 877 results were found. Of these, 18 were reviewed, and 10 selected as bibliography. Conclusions: Our case report is the first mesenchymal chondrosarcoma involving the penis, up to the present, in the literature. Given the very little information about its management, the experience from other specialities was used for the management of our patient.
