Abstract

Android is the mobile operating system used today and the most attacked by cybercriminals. Digital forensics is the process of applying scientific methods to collect and analyses data and information that can be used as evidence and can be applied to mobile devices. Several institutions and researchers have proposed models and guidelines to guide the forensic process, but these are very old, are very technical or are more generic and do not consider mobile devices; For this reason, an open practical guide is proposed to contribute to the appropriation of the forensic procedure in mobile devices by the members of seedlings and research groups and professionals who want to initiate the learning and investigation in this area. This guide is made up of eight phases and integrates the entire forensic process, good practices, and the profile of forensic investigator.
