Abstract

This article allows us to show the general panorama on technological development, worldwide, in the area of Internet of Things (IoT), with specific application in the area of agriculture. Through an analysis of the patent families of the Espacenet database and with the support of Matheo Patent® software, the worldwide patent dynamics and the main codes of the international patent classification (IPC) were identified in English), inventors, applicants and countries in which the different inventions have been protected.
