ANÁLISIS DE LOS SERVICIOS INNOVADORES PARA EL TURISMO DE BIENESTAR PRESENTES EN EL HOTEL SINDAMANOY EN ZAPATOCA, SANTANDER

Health and wellness tourism is one of the tourism products that registers a growing trend in the number of visitors and income generated in various countries in recent years, i ncludi ng Colombia. One of t he basic issues for this kind of tourism is the adaptation of the hotel plant to the requirements of potential tourists. Therefore, within the framework of an investigation on the potential that the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga and its area of influence could have for the demand for health and wellness tourism, the characteristics of the hotel plant were analyzed. Of the hotels analyzed, a special mention goes to the Hotel Sindamanoy located in the town of Zapatoca. During the visit to the hotel, special services and plans were evidenced that, thanks to their level of development, can be considered services with a high level of innovation with a specific focus on health and wellness tourism. In this article, the most innovative services offered by the hotel are compiled in order to capture the growing demand for health and wellness tourism in the region. In turn, it will be analyzed how these services could become a differentiating and innovative elements for this type of tourism at a national and international level.
