Personal profile

Visual Artist graduated from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano de Bogotá and Master in Illustration and Visual Communication from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. Teacher and researcher of the audiovisual arts program at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga - Colombia. Her work combines new media, conventional media, traditional and contemporary techniques. Her line of research-creation is art for social transformation and inclusion in multidisciplinary projects, seeking spaces for equity in the arts (SDG 10) and environmental conservation (SDG15).

She has participated in cultural and academic exhibitions at regional, national and international levels such as: Museo Nacional de Colombia, Banco de la República de Colombia, Art Chicago and Festival Internacional de la Imagen, among others. She has received different mentions and awards for her artistic work and her academic research in the field of art for social transformation. Speaker at Art and education events such as: The XXVI International Congress on Learning at Queen's University, Belfast, First Regional Congress on Education and Inclusion 2019, Intensive Course: "International Symposium on Electronic Arts- ISEA 2020", taught by Concordia University of Montreal, Canada, among others.
