Flor Viviana Nariño Bernal is a professional in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, a Certified Tourist Guide, a Technologist in Administrative and Financial Management, and holds a Master’s degree in Digital Marketing. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB) and an undergraduate student in Social Communication.

Her career has focused on research and academic management of projects oriented toward Food Design, the circular economy applied to gastronomic microenterprises, Colombian culinary heritage, and gastro‑cultural aesthetics.

She has led and participated in research projects recognized by Minciencias, integrating art, design, and gastronomy as drivers of social and economic transformation. Her scholarly output includes indexed articles, dissemination books, book chapters, and international presentations. She has also served as curator and organizer of scientific and artistic events such as the Food Design Festival Bogotá 2025, Gastro Think Tank 2022, and the Ibero‑American Forum on Development and Gastronomic Perspectives.

She is an active member of networks such as CESAC and the Latin American Network of Food Design, and her work is reflected in projects with national and international impact, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly those related to food security, gastronomic innovation, and sustainability.
