Professional Information

She received her B.Sc. in Chemistry in 2011 from the Universidad Industrial de Santander and her Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 2017 from the University of São Paulo. She has extensive experience in Biochemical and Molecular Pharmacology, focusing on peptide synthesis, structure and function of seven-transmembrane receptors (GPCRs), intracellular signaling, and the discovery and development of new drugs. She is currently a Full Professor in the Medicine Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga. Her research interests include peptide synthesis, drug discovery, biomedical technology development, and the design of prototypes for the healthcare industry.
