El grupo GINCAP realiza actividades investigativas en sentido estricto, en el área de las ciencias naturales y matemáticas, integrado por un equipo interdisciplinario, proyectado a ser líder en las ciencias aplicadas, con alianzas a nivel nacional e internacional, mediante el fortalecimiento de las líneas de investigación y mediante el trabajo continuo en el desarrollo de proyectos con impacto científico y social.
